Sweet & Shiny

Sweet & Shiny, is passionate about custom cakes and the fine art of glassblowing. Established in 2011 by Brooklyn resident Elaine Li-Reyes, it's also a unique cafe experience that provides artist showcases, children's workshops and other fun events throughout the year.

Our offerings of delicious sweets, range from simple cupcakes to grand wedding cakes. We also specialize in custom glass commissions, ranging from jewelry, housewares and ornate chandeliers.

Elaine has been a cake designer since 1996 and began glassblowing in 2002. After many years in both creative fields she is combining her two passions with Sweet & Shiny.

Events

We also partner with different local businesses throughout New York to produce and cater their events. We've catered private parties, galas, openings and other unique events. Some past events we've produced within Sweet & Shiny's cafe has been free yoga classes, art shows and several children's creative workshops.
